There’s No Place Like Home
“When it comes to the very best in veterinary care for your pet, there’s no place like home!”
Our veterinarian, Dr. Natalie-Anne Reinhart and No Place Like Home Mobile Pet Vet, PLLC are excited to bring compassionate, mobile vet healthcare to your home in the Wilmington, Leland, Ogden, Hampstead and surrounding areas in New Hanover and portions of Pender and Brunswick Counties, for your convenience.
Dr. Reinhart has been a small animal veterinarian in the Wilmington, NC area since graduating. Her main goal is to reduce your pet’s stress related to visiting a veterinary hospital, by caring for them at home where they are most comfortable. Feel free to contact her by phone or email by clicking our Contact Us page.
The prices for laboratory procedures, vaccinations, medications, exams, and euthanasias are similar to costs at veterinary hospitals around Leland and Wilmington, NC. The only additional charge you can expect beyond what a regular stationary veterinary practice would charge is a housecall fee.
The standard housecall fee is $80 (with an exam) and $90 (without an exam- vaccines only and do not want flea/tick/heartworm preventatives).
This includes a one-way drive to your home less than or equal to 20 miles from the Ogden area in Wilmington, NC (near Dr. Reinhart’s office space). There is an additional mileage surcharge for trips beyond 20 miles. Please call for a trip fee estimate and any other questions about prices.
Dr. Reinhart will travel in the New Hanover County as well as some portions of Brunswick and Pender counties in NC.
No Place Like Home Mobile Pet Vet, PLLC provides medical care for dogs and cats only.
Dr. Reinhart does not have the capability to perform surgeries or sedate aggressive or severely scared pets in the home. Without a full staff, general anesthesia, oxygen, and intubation tubes in case of a bad reaction, it’s just not safe. If your pet is extremely sick, Dr. Reinhart will recommend referral to a veterinary hospital that is capable of hospitalization. Dr. Reinhart is also unable to perform X-rays (although, ultrasounds can be coordinated with another mobile ultrasound veterinarian if needed or with a veterinary hospital.)
In addition, she is not equipped to perform emergency services. Click here for emergency recommendations for practices to take your pet to if an emergency arises.
